Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic day at Gaveston Hall where they took part in orienteering, shelter building and a river walk.  They learnt about the geographical vocabulary associated with rivers first hand.  Nobody managed to keep their feet dry (adults or children)  as we walked through the river. The children also worked well in a team to build some impressive shelters as well as knowing how to use a map to complete an orienteering course.
