    Healthy Eating week!

    We are pleased to inform you that we will be launching this year’s Healthy Eating Week with a whole-school assembly on Monday 8th June.

    On the same day, each child will receive a Healthy Eating Tracker to take home. We would greatly appreciate your support in encouraging your child to complete this, as we aim to promote positive and sustainable changes to our eating habits.

    Throughout the week, our focus will include:

    • Increasing fibre intake
    • Achieving five portions of fruit and vegetables a day (including trying new foods)
    • Staying well hydrated
    • Increasing physical activity
    • Reducing food waste

    As an added incentive, the class that returns the highest number of completed trackers by Thursday 18th June will be rewarded with an additional sports session of their choice.
