School Councill are delighted to announce that, together, we have raised £313.65 for Chestnut Tree House and St Barnabas House.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated delicious cakes and to all who contributed to these wonderful charities. Your support will make a real difference to the children and adults who rely on the vital services they provide.

This week some Year 4 children took part in a dodgeball festival with lots of other schools. They played really well as a team and made some great catches and dodges! Grayson was 'player of the match' for his superb throwing and great sportsmanship. 

Year 5 had a wonderful visit to South Downs Planetarium where they explored space. We watched the dome turn into the night sky, toured the International Space Station and visited the planets of our solar system. We learnt so much about our universe. 

We concluded the term with a wonderful Christmas celebration at St Mary’s Church, and what an unforgettable occasion it was! Year 6 shone brilliantly as they led us through the story of Jesus’ birth with confidence, clarity, and reverence. Their leadership and hard work made the service truly special.

The whole school joined together in singing carols that filled the church with joy and reminded us all of the true meaning of Christmas. It was a heartwarming moment of unity and celebration.

A huge well done to Year 6 for their outstanding effort and maturity—you made us all proud!
